Stuffed Pomfret by Lonet Vaz Pereira


For 1 big fish -

3 big red onions
1 whole pod of garlic
1 big piece of ginger
3-4 green chillies
2 small tomatoes diced
1/4 bunch of corriander leaves

Cut all the above ingredients fine.
Sautee all this in little oil till it softens and changes colour. Add 1 tbsp of Meet Mirsang paste to this and salt to taste


Clean and salt fish separately

Take the sauteed mixture and stuff in fish and on top of fish. Bake in foil for 1/2 hour or more till cooked.

If Pomfrets are frozen - salt the fish a day earlier with a little turmeric and pepper powder.
