Fish Red Curry (Jeeri Meeri) by Karen Pereira

1 kg fresh Fish

Masala to Grind
15-20 Red long chillies (Kashmiri)
1 tsp Jeera (Cumin seeds)
10 Pepper corns
6-8 cloves of garlic
2-3 medium size onions
1 small ball of tamarind


Clean and wash fish. Apply a little salt and vinegar and keep aside.
Grind the above masa to a fine paste.
Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil and fry chopped onion.
Add masala and fry well.  Add masala water and put salt to taste and 1 tbsp vinear.
Let the curry cook for a few minutes.
Put in fish pieces and give it a good boil.
