Karen's Malabari Mutton


250 grams Mutton
2 big onions
4 green chilies sliced
2 tomatoes sliced
Keep aside the above.

Chop corrainder leaves. Peel and cut potatoes into 4.
Grind ginger, garlic and 1 tsp aniseed.

Method :
Heat Oil.
1. Fry cloves, cinnamon, onions, green chillies and curry leaves till onions turn transparent.
2. Add ground paste of ginger, garlic and aniseed till you get a nice aroma.
3. Add 2 tbsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder and fry well.
4. Add cut and cleaned mutton, fry till meat changes colour.
5. Reduce heat and cook on slow fire. Add water and tomatoes till gravy thickens.
6. Add a dash of Garam masala at the end for better taste.
