Green Gram and Bamboo Shoots by Yvonne Pereira

Ingredients
2 cups of Green Gram (Moong) (soak overnight in water, drain the next day and keep it in an open vessel to sprout
1 tin Bamboo shoots
2 tsp of Vegetable Powder
1 inch Ginger
3 cloves of Garlic
1 Onion
1/2 tsp mustard for seasoning

Method
Chop Onion, Ginger and Garlic.
Add oil in a vessel and season with mustard and curry leaves (optional)
Add Onion, Ginger and Garlic Fry till it browns. Add Green Gram and cook.
Add Bamboo shoots. Cook for another 7-8 minutes.
Add Vegetable powder and salt to taste.
