Chilli Beef by Vinalini Menezes

Ingredients

Beef – 1 kg boneless small cubes / strips
Garam Masala – 2 sticks Cinnamon bark, 8 cloves, 2 Cardamom
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onions - 2 large sliced
Green chillies - 3 sliced
2 cloves of garlic cleaned and diced
Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Worcestershire Sauce – 1 Tbsp
Dark Soy Sauce – 2-3 Tbsp
Salt - As reqd
Coriander leaves – a handful (optional)

Method

1)Cook beef with salt and Garam Masala. Reserve the stock for later use.
2) Heat oil in a pan.
3) Fry onions until light pink in color.
4) Add green chillies and garlic and fry some more until transparent.
5) Add Worcestershire Sauce and Dark Soy Sauce and fry for a min more.
6) Add the cooked beef and pepper powder and stir fry adding a little of the stock at a time until all the flavors are well incorporated about 10mins.
7) Garnish with coriander leaves.
