Pattu's Tuna Fish Cutlets

1) Boil about 4 potatoes while you chop the ingredients below

Ingredients:
2 Tins (squeeze all water out)

Chop the following fine
a) 2 onions, 3-4 garlic, 1 big piece of ginger, 1-2 green chillies (depends how spicy you want it)
b) Handful or more coriander leaves chopped fine and kept aside

c)
2 tbsp water
1 tsp or to taste vinegar and salt
1 tsp pepper powder
¼ tsp jeera powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp garam masala powder

(d)
1-2 eggs beaten well
breadcrumbs

Method:
2) Make some oil hot in a pan and fry the chopped ingredients (a) till brown. Add ingredients under (c) and fry till brown (approx 2 minutes) till dry.

3) Mash the potatoes in a big bowl and add all fried items in (2). Check for salt and vinegar add the tuna crumbled with your fingers so there are no lumps. Lastly add the coriander leaves (b) and make cutlets and keep in fridge for about 15 minutes.
Take cutlets out of fridge, dip in beaten egg and breadcrumbs (d) and shallow fry in oil.
